    Layout Notes

Submit as flat, unfolded artwork. Design your brochure at the full flat size. We handle the folding — just make sure your panels are in the correct position.

For tri-fold brochures, the inner panel (the one that folds in first) must be 1/16" narrower than the other two panels to fold cleanly.

    Front (Outside)

When unfolded, the outside faces up with panels arranged left to right:

    • Left panel: Inside flap (first thing seen when opened)
    • Center panel: Back cover
    • Right panel: Front cover

    Back (Inside)

When unfolded, the inside faces up:

    • Left panel: Inside left
    • Center panel: Inside center
    • Right panel: Inside right (folds in)

    Design Tips

    Plan around the folds

Avoid placing text or critical elements across fold lines. Keep text at least 0.25" from any fold.

    Use the panels strategically

Front cover grabs attention, inside panels tell the story, and the back has contact info.

    Mind the inner panel width

For tri-fold, the panel that folds in first must be 1/16" narrower so it nests inside cleanly.

    Test with a dummy fold

Print a test on regular paper, fold it, and verify panel order and content placement before ordering.
